Say what you want about the tenants of Wellthatscool.com, but at least it’s an ethos… and that ethos was on hand on April 7th at the Bama Theatre in Tuscaloosa for “Tuscaloosa Abides: A Celebration of All Things Lebowski”. The now annual event is not only a showing of the Cohen Brothers’ classic, The Big Lebowski, but an overall celebration of the quirky world that film created.
The night included Wii Bowling for those wanting to replicate the favorite hobby of The Dude, Walter, and Donny and specials on Caucasians, or White Russians if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. The highlight before the actual showing of the film was a costume contest held by The Pink Box Burlesque’s own Mama Dixie, which tied the night together nicely…
