The Supreme Gents are Oxford , Tuscaloosa mash up that blurs a line between Garage rock and soul, with both styles showing up in this tune. The Gents feature Wiley and the Checkmates emcee/percussionist Matty Crockett on vocals backed by the Checkmates’ rhythm section. The rhythm section section durning this included none other then the midnight mayor of Tuscaloosa himself “SweetDog” and his Partner in crime J.D. Mark. J.D is one of the busiest players in the south with his fingers in many pies. He has been a part of many great bands from the south and has even toured as the bassist for LCD sound system.
