As many know we at wellthatscool.com organized a concert called the “Tuscaloosa Get Up”. The show featured the Alabama Shakes, the Dexateens and Lee Bains III and the Glory Fires at the Bama Theatre here in Tuscaloosa on Friday March 23rd. The event raised over $26,000 towards building a house for Tuscaloosa Habitat for Humanity. We were lucky enough to have a great board mix from David H. Jones as well as a live mic mix from Matt at patchndent.com (great source for live music from the south) mixed by Shane Lollar at Old Capital studio. We were also very lucky to have Henry Busby and Marcus Tortorici there to record the night. What you see below is a mix of all of the above edited by Henry and Marcus. We are so proud to have been a part of this event and look forward to releasing more of the night as we can to help everyone remember that special night.
