Egans is set to host Brewery Reps from Back Forty and Tommy Knocker Brewery for Q and A. Back Forty will have a Vanilla Porter Firkin* that will be tapped at 9pm Thursday June 7th.Drafts will be $6 from the Firkin and all other drafts from Back Forty and Tommy Knocker will be $3.50. there will be Dance Party with Brian Oliu starting at 10:30pm. Party starts at 8pm.
*A firkin is a type of keg that contains “real ale,” also known as “cask-conditioned ale.”Cask-conditioned ale is beer that is naturally carbonated, because the beer is put in the sealed cask, or firkin, before fermentation is complete. The gas produced by the fermentation is then absorbed in the beer.This produces a gentle, natural carbonation.
