Alabama Football this weekend!!!!!!!
Break out the bourbon, Saturday is football day! The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game is this Saturday night at 8est 7central. But before the game The crew from ESPN College Gameday will be broadcasting from Atlanta.
One of the things the College Gameday crew will talk about will definitely be the fact that The DARK LORD will be in Tuscaloosa until 2017.
According to ESPN.com’s Chris Low:
“Pledging his commitment to Alabama for the rest of his coaching career, Nick Saban signed a contract extension Saturday that will keep him in charge of the Crimson Tide football program through the 2017 season.” - full story
But ESPN will not have all the haps going on this year in Tuscaloosa. For all the inside info you need to check out our friend TJ Ripp from towerofbammer.com and his podcast, The Perfect Storm. The first one will be on the internets this week!

Kip: 16 seconds that will change your life
Last night I saw local celebrity, city councilman and host of TV's Great Day Tuscaloosa at Publix (the one campus). It got me thinking. A lot of people from Tuscaloosa know Kip as more than the man on Comcast Ch. 20 with the wicker set in the McFarland Mall.
To people who grew up in Tuscaloosa, Kip is their James Spann. Kip was the man in Tuscaloosa TV. He was THE weatherman at WCFT Channel 33. In the early 1980s, WCFT had the leading local newscast in western Alabama (with newscasts called "Eyewitness News")
The first 16 seconds will change your life...don't watch the rest of this video.
