Well That's Cool Music #4 - Ham Bagby with special guest, Greg Staggs
Ham Bagby and Greg Staggs sit down after a show taping to record some songs for us.
Nick Saban V. God
Nick Saban is bigger than God. According to the Birmingham News, "Nick Saban may not be bigger than God in Alabama, but he has more fans on Facebook." And we all know that Facebook is a place where truth can be had.
The conclusion that Saban has more more Fans than God was made by Pete Warden, of Fan Page Analytics ranking. The Birmingham News stated that Warden "...noted that God is "almost always in the top spot" in the South, with some exceptions. Oklahomans picked the Sooners first and God third, for example, and Florida favored Starbucks over the Almighty. Urban Meyer didn't even make Florida's list."
The Westboro baptist Church, the ass-holes, who recently gone around picketing claiming that the earthquake in Haiti was because God Hates Haiti and the quake was a sign that the end of the world is coming surely have Nick Saban on the picket list now. Don't be surprised to see them in Tuscaloosa next season picketing our Dark Lord with "God Hates Nick Saban" and "God Hates Debbie Cookies" signs.

Well That's Cool Show This Tuesday
Well That's Cool does not bring you crap. We pride ourselves on being crap free. Too once again prove that we that we are un-crap we are bring you are great show this Tuesday at Egans.
welthatscool.com is set showcase two bands straight out of Austin Texas, La Snacks and Transmography. You need to be at Egans to witness the Drunk Fun Time Tour. If there is anything we as Tuscaloosains can do well, it is get behind a drunk fun time.
La Snacks has garnered many favorable comparisons with Pavement, The Onion AV Club wrote: “The blissfully slacked-out La Snacks would have found good company in the mid-’90s sandwiched on a Pavement/Archers of Loaf bill, but even Pavement rarely wrote songs as simultaneously snarky and reverent as “Emo Kind of Love.”"
Austinsound.net said that Transmography is "...industrial thwamp of experimental rock that coheres in abstract rhythms and explosive instrumental freak-outs."
You should just come on out to Egan's this Tuesday and and find out for yourself. These guys are on tour for the rest of the month, show some support so we can keep getting great bands in Tuscaloosa.

Too Soon?
The Tuscaloosa News is reporting that the Nick Saban statue is under construction. MTM Recognition, the maker of the statue, has a goal of completing The Bronze Dark Lord in time for A-Day, April 17.
The article reports that Saban "... won't be in a suit and tie — that's not his style. It will reflect more of his role as an encourager, a director, that's the general direction. They're sculpting the face right now.” Even Mrs. Terry is helping to get it right.
We here at the Well That's Cool World Wide HQ pose one question.. Too Soon?
All we can hope is that Saban's face wil have a smile, like in this picture from the Mobile Press-Register.
The other question we want to know is how tall will they make him. If it is proportional, the likeness might only be about six feet tall (please don't tell the Dark Lord we said that, we will eat a box of Debbie Cookies right now as penance).
Side note, this is a $50,000 drop in the bucket. Good thing you get payed a boatload to play in the BCS National Championship.

Welcome to Dynasty Park.
Wellthatscool.com Bowling League VIII
Spare, Strike, Gutter, 7/10, HAM BONE and YAHTZEE! these are all things you can start yelling at your friends if you join the Wellthatscool.com Bowling League VIII.
To join all you need are two friends, $12 a week per person and to be at the AMF BAMA BOWL this Wednesday at 7:30pm.
You may think to yourself "Sure, I like to bowl, but this sounds a bit competitive for my blood". Well let me tell you that you are wrong! This is a bowling league for people who are not super bowlers and don't bowl at all. Everyone gets a handicap based on how they bowl to make it fair. That means you have a shot at winning each and every week.
Now you may be thinking, "Well maybe I could join this thing, but what does my $12 a week get me?". That is a good question. Your $12 dollars per person each week covers three games shoes and keeping up with scores and everything else (well everything but your beer, just give Yoyo your money and she will take care of that for you).
The best part at the end of 12 weeks everyone wins money!!!
Wellthatscool.com Bowling League VIII starts this Wednesday at 7:30pm to take care of league business and then the following 11 weeks bowling will begin at 8pm sharp!
Be a part of bowling, its the only sport where beer in encouraged.
