Mikey Oswalt went to Singer/Songwriter Night at the Mellow Mushroom. This was close to the summer of 2006. He saw Blaine Duncan play and sing. Mikey Oswalt had been in Texas. Mikey Oswalt wanted to get back into the local music scene of Tuscaloosa. The local music scene in Tuscaloosa is as diverse as it is incredible. The hunt for a bass player and lead guitar player began. Ryan Akers and David Phillips were added. Ham Bagby had been an excellent substitute in times of need. Ham Bagby joined full time in January 2008. Ryan Akers moved to Colorado in October 2008. Kendall Rich is an excellent musician who can do it all. Kendall Rich became a Looker in November 2008.
The band made an EP, The Missing Honeybees Demo, in 2007. The band will release their first, full-length album in May 2009. The band plays many live shows a year. Some of the shows are great. Some of the shows are not as great. Come to one and see which it will be.
